New Orleans

Ponchartrain Landing RV Park, New Orleans

We stayed at this RV park that was right on a canal. Since it was Covid times the Natchez was docked off this canal for maintenance. Pretty cool to look out the window and see this cool paddle wheel boat across the way.

The main event of the New Orleans trip was to spend Mothers Day with my Grandma! Crummy pic of Me (Tessa) but a great one of Grandma Audrey and Bella.

We also took a trip to City Park, which even after living there all those years I had never been to. The oaks were beautiful and Marty really enjoyed the long walk around the park. The oak pictured has several large wind chimes in it.

One of the things I'd do during meetings was watch boats be put into and taken out of the water. Fascinating how many boats they could fit in that building behind the one on the forklift.
